Spicy chipotle garlic sauce with olive oil and zesty lime juice.
Ingredients:
  • 6 dried chipotle chili pepper
  • 1 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1.5 cups chopped garlic
  • 5 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a bowl, submerge the chipotles in steaming hot water and let them soak for 3 minutes. Drain the chipotles, discard the stems and seeds, and slice them into thin strips.
  • In a large skillet, gently warm the oil over low heat. Sauté the garlic until it turns golden brown, about 4 to 5 minutes. Mix in the peppers and lime juice, let it simmer for 5 minutes, then season with salt. Transfer the flavorful mixture to a bowl and let it cool before storing it in the refrigerator in an airtight container.
