Spooky cupcakes for a monster party!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box
  • Halloween-themed sprinkles (bones, bats, ghosts)
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Vanilla Frosting
  • 1 1/2 cups Boo Berry™ cereal
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans) and line 24 regular-size muffin cups with paper baking cups.
  • Prepare the cake batter following the instructions on the box. Fill muffin cups two-thirds full with the batter. Bake for 16 to 19 minutes or until the cupcakes spring back when touched in the center. Allow them to cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer them to a cooling rack to cool completely for about 30 minutes.
  • Use a melon baller to create a hollow center in each cupcake about 1 inch deep. Fill each cavity with approximately 2 teaspoons of sprinkles for a delightful surprise.
  • Spread a generous amount of frosting on top of the cupcakes and sprinkle approximately 1 tablespoon of cereal on each cupcake for added texture and flavor.
