Moroccan-spiced oven-roasted carrots - a perfect side for any dish!
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds carrots, cut into thick slices
  • 0.25 cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.125 teaspoon cayenne pepper, or to taste
  • aluminum foil
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Coat carrots evenly with a flavorful blend of olive oil, lemon juice, sugar, cumin, cinnamon, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper in a bowl. Spread them out in a large roasting pan.
  • Roast in the oven, turning occasionally, for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
