Spicy hot mustard deviled eggs topped with a savory stuffed olive for the perfect flavor balance.
Ingredients:
  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon spicy brown mustard (such as Gulden's®)
  • 1 teaspoon hot mustard (such as Sweet Hot Mister Mustard®)
  • 1 teaspoon white sugar
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch paprika for garnish
  • 6 pimento-stuffed green olives, cut in half
Instructions:
  • In a single layer, gently arrange the eggs in a saucepan and pour enough water to cover them by 1 inch. Cover the saucepan and bring the water to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, remove from heat and let the eggs sit in the hot water for 15 minutes. Drain the water. Run cold water over the eggs until they are cool. Peel the eggs when cold. Slice the eggs in half lengthwise and transfer the yolks to a bowl. Use a fork to mash the yolks.
  • Combine mayonnaise, spicy brown mustard, hot mustard, sugar, salt, and pepper with the yolks until fully mixed. Transfer mixture into a quart-size resealable plastic bag and snip a corner for easy piping.
  • Fill the egg halves with the yolk mixture, dust with paprika, and garnish each with an olive half.
