Ingredients:
  • 1 (18.25 ounce) package yellow cake mix
  • 1 (3 ounce) package lemon flavored Jell-O®
  • 0.75 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 0.25 teaspoon lemon extract
  • 1 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 4 tablespoons lemon juice
Instructions:
  • Mix together the gelatin and cake mix until fully combined.
  • Combine oil, eggs, water, and lemon extract, gently stir to incorporate.
  • Follow the baking instructions on the back of the cake box.
  • Mixing confectioners' sugar with zesty lemon juice to create a delicious frosting.
  • Immediately after the cake is finished baking, generously spread a luscious layer of frosting over the warm surface.
