Frosted Cake Mix Lemon Cookies

Easy lemon cake mix cookies topped with frosting, perfect for a refreshing summer treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Delights Super Moist™ Lemon Cake Mix
  • 1/3 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tub (12 oz) Betty Crocker™ Whipped Whipped Cream Frosting
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (or 350°F for dark or nonstick cookie sheets). In a large bowl, mix cake mix, butter, shortening, and egg on medium speed for about 1 minute until well blended.
  • Place rounded tablespoonfuls of dough, spaced 2 inches apart, onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake until edges turn light brown, for about 9 to 12 minutes. Let the cookies cool for 1 minute, then remove from the sheet and cool completely. Frost and store covered.
