Irresistible butter tart recipe using pantry staples, quick and foolproof.
Ingredients:
  • 12 (3 inch) unbaked tart shells
  • 0.75 cup raisins
  • 0.5 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.25 cup corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Arrange the tart shells on a baking sheet and generously distribute the raisins and walnuts among them.
  • Combine brown sugar, corn syrup, butter, egg, vanilla extract, and salt in a bowl, then drizzle evenly over raisins and walnuts in tart shells.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes until the filling is set and the crust is golden brown.
