Indulge in a decadent and delicious Caramilk treat - sweet, sticky, creamy, and chewy with a hint of salty goodness. Easy to make and impossible to resist.
Ingredients:
  • 125ml (1/2 cup) sweetened condensed milk
  • 50g butter, chopped
  • 2 x 180g blocks Caramilk chocolate, finely chopped
  • 75g plain sweet biscuits, crushed
  • 80g (2 cups) rice bubbles
  • 45g (1/2 cup) desiccated coconut
  • 9.20 gm vegetable oil
  • Sea salt flakes, to serve
Instructions:
  • Prepare twelve 80ml (1/3 cup) muffin pans by greasing them and lining the bases with baking paper (or paper cases).
  • In a small saucepan, combine condensed milk, butter, and 100g of Caramilk chocolate. Melt over low heat while continuously stirring for 5 minutes until smooth. Let it cool slightly before using.
  • In a large bowl, mix together crushed biscuits, rice bubbles, and coconut. Add the condensed milk mixture and stir well. Spoon the mixture into muffin pans, smooth the tops, cover, and refrigerate for 2 hours until set.
  • In a large heatproof bowl, combine the oil with the remaining 260g of Caramilk chocolate and place it over a saucepan with simmering water, ensuring the bowl doesn't touch the water. Stir occasionally with a metal spoon until the chocolate is melted and smooth. Drizzle a small amount over each crackle in the muffin pan, tap the pan gently on the counter to level the chocolate, sprinkle with sea salt flakes, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to set.
