Mulled cider ham glaze recipe

Elevate your ham with a flavorful mulled cider glaze.
Ingredients:
  • 330ml bottle apple cider
  • 215.00 gm caster sugar
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 1 star anise
  • 2 whole cloves
  • 4cm strip lemon rind
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine cider, sugar, cinnamon, star anise, cloves, and lemon rind. Stir and cook for 5 minutes until sugar dissolves. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer for 20 minutes until slightly thickened. Remove from heat, let stand for 30 minutes, then strain the glaze through a fine sieve into a heatproof bowl, discarding solids.
