Savory meatloaf combining ground pork sausage, beef, vegetables, and mushrooms for a modern twist on a classic dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound ground pork breakfast sausage
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 0.5 cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Combine in a large bowl: sausage, beef, eggs, bread crumbs, onion, bell pepper, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix thoroughly.
  • Flatten mixture into an 8x8-inch square. Spread half of the can of soup over the meatloaf, roll it up, seal the edges, and place it in a loaf pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 30 minutes. Then add the rest of the soup and continue baking for an additional 20 minutes.
