Savor this hearty meat chili, crafted with ground beef, stewed tomatoes, red kidney beans, and zesty chili powder.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 (14.5 ounce) cans stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans with liquid
Instructions:
  • In a large stockpot over medium heat, sauté ground beef with onion and garlic until beef is browned and crumbly, about 10 minutes. Remove excess grease before serving.
  • Combine tomatoes, tomato sauce, chili powder, salt, and oregano with the beef mixture. Crush tomatoes while stirring and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered, stirring occasionally, for 1 hour.
  • Add the beans along with their flavorful liquid to the pot. Let it simmer uncovered for 20 minutes, giving it an occasional stir.
