Summer nectarine and raspberry crumble with spiced brown sugar streusel topping.
Ingredients:
  • 3.5 pounds nectarines
  • 1 (6 ounce) container fresh raspberries
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 7 tablespoons unsalted butter, room temperature and cut into chunks
  • 0.75 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Heat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • 1. Boil a large pot of water. Quickly blanch the nectarines for 30 seconds, then lift them out with a slotted spoon and allow them to cool until easy to touch. Peel, halve, pit, and slice the nectarines. Mix the sliced nectarines with raspberries and white sugar in a bowl before transferring them to a baking dish.
  • Mix brown sugar, butter, flour, oats, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a bowl. Rub the mixture between your fingers to make streusel, then sprinkle it evenly over the fruit.
  • Bake in the oven until the crumble is golden brown, for 45 to 60 minutes.
