Indulge in decadent cake with a surprise strawberry center, all made with just three simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
  • 1 x 2L ctn Neopolitan ice-cream
  • 1 x Round Chocolate Mud Cake
  • 1 x 410g can strawberries in light syrup
Instructions:
  • Place the strawberry ice-cream and vanilla ice-cream in separate bowls to slightly soften. Place the chocolate ice-cream back in the freezer.
  • Cut the cake in half horizontally using a large serrated knife. Place the bottom half of the cake, cut-side up, on a serving plate. Spread vanilla ice cream over the bottom half. Place the remaining cake on top, cut-side down. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 2 hours or until firm.
  • Drain the strawberries, pat them dry with a paper towel, coarsely chop them, and then stir them into the strawberry ice cream until fully combined. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze for 2 hours, or until firm.
  • Alternate scoops of luscious chocolate and vibrant strawberry ice cream around the perimeter of the cake before presenting it to the eager guests.
