Indulge in a moist cake bursting with triple ice cream flavors.
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ White Cake Mix
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 10 drops red food color
  • 1/4 cup chocolate-flavored syrup
  • 1/2 cup from 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325°F. Grease and lightly flour a 12-cup fluted tube cake pan, or spray it with baking spray that contains flour.
  • In a spacious bowl, use an electric mixer to blend the cake mix, water, oil, and egg whites on low for 30 seconds, then on medium for 2 minutes, scraping the sides occasionally. Transfer approximately 1 2/3 cups of batter into the pan.
  • In a small bowl, mix 1 1/3 cups of batter with almond extract and food color. Pour the pink batter over the white batter in the pan. Stir chocolate syrup into the remaining batter and pour the chocolate batter over the pink batter.
  • Bake for 40 to 45 minutes till a toothpick inserted 1 1/2 inches from the cake's side comes out clean. Let it cool for 10 minutes. Invert the pan onto a rack or plate, remove the pan, and cool completely for about 1 hour.
  • Microwave the frosting in a bowl on High for about 15 seconds until smooth and thin enough to drizzle. Spread on top of the cake, letting some drizzle down the sides. Store covered loosely.
