Try this vibrant and refreshing mocktail bursting with pomegranate, orange, and grapefruit juices, and a unique tea infusion. Perfect for any celebration!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons seedless raspberry jam or spread
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 chai tea bags
  • 2 English breakfast tea bags
  • 8 thin orange wheels
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh grapefruit juice
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice
  • 6 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
  • 2 1/4 cups chilled unsweetened 100% pomegranate juice (such as Knudsen)
  • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper, as desired
  • 4 thin lemon wheels
  • 1 cup fresh berries, sliced peaches, or other seasonal fruit (optional)
  • 3/4 cup chilled club soda, plus more as needed
Instructions:
  • Prepare the tea infusion a day in advance: In a 1-quart saucepan, gently simmer raspberry jam and water over medium-high heat until fully dissolved. Remove from heat and add chai and English breakfast tea bags, ensuring they are fully immersed. Steep for 40 minutes, then remove tea bags. Chill in the refrigerator if not serving right away.
  • To prepare the sangria up to 2 hours before serving, start by placing 4 orange wheels in a 2-quart pitcher with the tea mixture. Gently tap the orange wheels about ten times to bruise the peel without pulverizing it. Then, add grapefruit, orange, and lemon juices, pomegranate juice, and cayenne to the pitcher and stir well. Finally, add lemon wheels, the remaining 4 orange wheels, and any additional fruit, stirring gently. For the best flavor, refrigerate the sangria until ready to serve, ideally letting it sit for an hour or two to enhance the taste. Enjoy!
  • To serve, gently mix the mixture and add cold club soda before giving it a final stir. Serve in ice-filled tumblers or wine glasses, with extra club soda on the side for a spritzier sangria.
