Simplify: Easy and versatile Norwegian potato dumplings, perfect for leftovers - simply fry and enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices bacon
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 10 medium potatoes, peeled and shredded
  • 2 teaspoons salt
Instructions:
  • Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium-high heat until crispy. Set aside bacon and save the flavorful grease.
  • Combine the flour and baking powder in a medium bowl, then mix in the potatoes until a sticky dough forms.
  • 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. 2. Shape the potato mixture into 6 or 7 dumplings, or size of your choice. 3. Carefully drop the dumplings into the boiling water. 4. Simmer for 45 to 60 minutes. 5. Remove the dumplings to a platter using a slotted spoon.
  • Drizzle with luscious bacon grease and sprinkle with crispy crumbled bacon.
