Savory Italian sausage, earthy mushrooms, tender zucchini, and fresh green onions sautéed in sherry for a unique pasta sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds Italian sausage
  • 4 ounces fresh mushrooms, sliced
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 2 cubes chicken bouillon
  • 0.5 cup sherry
  • 1.5 pounds zucchini, sliced
  • 0.5 cup chopped green onion
  • 1 (16 ounce) package spaghetti
Instructions:
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, sauté sausage and mushrooms in butter until the sausage is golden brown. Stir in bouillon cubes and sherry until the bouillon is fully dissolved. Add zucchini and onion, cooking uncovered until the zucchini is crisp-tender.
  • While the sauce simmers, boil a large pot of lightly salted water. Cook spaghetti until al dente, about 12 minutes. Drain.
  • Ladle the flavorful pasta sauce over steaming hot spaghetti.
