"Summertime delight: Semifreddo intertwined with nougat, perfect for sharing with loved ones."
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 161.25 gm caster sugar
  • 300ml thickened cream, whipped
  • 100g vanilla pistachio nougat, finely chopped
  • Fruit salad, to serve
Instructions:
  • With an electric mixer, whip eggs, egg yolks, and sugar until thick and creamy, for 5-7 minutes. Gently fold in the cream. Transfer the mixture into a 7cm-deep, 10cm x 21cm (base) loaf pan or a 6-cup capacity airtight container. Freeze it for 2 hours until half-set with a thick consistency. Add the nougat and freeze overnight until firmly set.
  • Top the flavorful semifreddo with a refreshing fruit salad before enjoying.
