Nut-free satay sauce alternative for everyone to enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 500g chicken tenderloin
  • 9.20 gm vegetable oil
  • 2 small red chillies, deseeded, finely chopped
  • 125.00 ml FreeNut Butter (sunflower seed paste)
  • 250.00 ml light and creamy coconut flavoured evaporated milk
  • 21.00 gm soy sauce
  • 16.00 gm brown sugar
  • Sliced green onions, to serve
Instructions:
  • Skewer the chicken and sear in a hot pan with half of the oil until cooked through, about 4 to 5 minutes per side.
  • Heat the remaining oil in a saucepan over medium heat. Sauté the chilli for 1 minute until fragrant. Add FreeNut Butter, milk, soy sauce, and sugar. Bring to a boil, then simmer on low for 2 to 3 minutes until thickened. Pour the sauce over the skewers before serving.
