Indulgent Nutella and Ferrero Rocher pudding: gooey, chocolatey perfection for cozy couch cuddles.
Ingredients:
  • 6 slices (about 200g) brioche
  • 100g (1/3 cup) Nutella, plus extra, to serve
  • 375ml (1 1/2 cups) milk
  • 300ml carton pouring cream
  • 150g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 55g (1/4 cup) caster sugar
  • Double cream, to serve
  • 40.00 ml coarsely chopped roasted hazelnuts
  • 12 Ferrero Rocher chocolates
  • Icing sugar, to dust
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 160C (140C fan forced) and lightly grease a 5cm-deep, 15 x 20cm (6 cup) baking dish.
  • Layer 3 brioche slices generously with Nutella. Top with remaining brioche slices and press firmly. Cut each sandwich in half and arrange, cut side up, in the dish.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, gently heat the milk, cream, and chocolate while stirring until smooth and combined. Let it sit for 5 minutes to cool slightly after removing from heat.
  • In a large jug, whisk together the egg and sugar. Stir in the chocolate mixture, then pour the mixture over the brioche. Gently press down the brioche to ensure it's fully coated in the chocolate mixture. Set aside for 30 minutes to soak.
  • Place the dish in a roasting pan and pour boiling water into the pan until it reaches halfway up the sides of the dish. Bake for 50-55 minutes until just set. Remove the dish from the pan and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
  • Swirl in more Nutella into the double cream. Sprinkle hazelnuts and Ferrero Rocher chocolates over the pudding. Dust with icing sugar and serve with Nutella cream.
