Bake irresistible oatmeal raisin nut cookies with the perfect crispy-chewy balance and caramelized edges for your cookie jar.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 1/2 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup raisins
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F and generously coat cookie sheets with cooking spray. In a large bowl, cream together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and butter until fluffy. Mix in vanilla and egg until well blended. Incorporate flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt until fully combined. Gently fold in oats, raisins, and nuts until evenly distributed.
  • Scoop dough using a rounded teaspoon and place 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheets.
  • Bake at 375°F until edges are lightly golden brown, 7 to 10 minutes. Let cool for 1 minute before removing from baking sheets.
