Sea-themed bento box with octopus hot dog and coral and seaweed ramen noodles.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 hot dog
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 (3 ounce) package ramen noodles
  • 6 cauliflower florets
  • 0.25 cup chopped baby spinach
Instructions:
  • Lay the hot dog half flat and make a vertical slit from the bottom to within 1 inch of the top. Rotate the hot dog half 90 degrees and repeat the process on the uncut side. Cut each of the 4 "legs" halfway through the middle to create 8 octopus "legs".
  • Bring a pot of water to a boil, then add the hot dog octopus. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until heated through. Drain the octopus.
  • In the same pot, bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add ramen noodles and cauliflower, cooking until softened for 3 to 4 minutes. Dissolve ramen seasoning in the pot. Take the pot off the heat and stir in the spinach. Allow the spinach to wilt for about 3 minutes before serving.
  • Create a visually stunning bento box by arranging ramen noodle mixture and octopus hot dog.
