Creamy baked eggs with smoked salmon, cooked in two stages for perfection.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons heavy whipping cream, or as needed
  • 1 slice smoked salmon, cut into strips
  • 1 egg, separated
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 pinch chopped fresh dill
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Pour heavy cream into a small ramekin until one-third full. Add smoked salmon strips and egg white, then season with salt and pepper. Place the ramekin in a casserole dish and fill halfway with boiling water.
  • Cook until the egg white is perfectly cooked, approximately 10 minutes in the preheated oven.
  • Carefully slide the egg yolk into the ramekin, sprinkle with dill, and bake until hot yet still runny, for 1 to 2 minutes.
