Old-Fashioned Giblet Stuffing

Classic giblet stuffing for a big turkey - giblets, butter, onion, celery, and bread cubes.
Ingredients:
  • 1 sack giblets from one turkey
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 1 cup diced celery
  • 0.5 cup chopped onion
  • 1 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 cups dry bread cubes
  • 1 cup chicken broth, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Finely dice giblets.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, melt butter. Cook giblets for 2 minutes. Add celery and onion, cook until tender, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat, then stir in poultry seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  • In a large bowl, mix together bread crumbs and giblet mixture. Add broth gradually until bread is lightly moistened. Stuffing is now ready to be baked to perfection.
