Slow Cooker Beer Brats with Onions, Spices, and Sauerkraut - Game day perfection!
Ingredients:
  • 2 (19.8 ounce) packages fresh bratwurst links
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 3 (12 ounce) cans light beer
  • 4 onions, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 cup sauerkraut, drained
  • 10 (6 inch) bratwurst buns
Instructions:
  • Place bratwurst links, butter, beer, onions, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, garlic, and brown sugar in a slow cooker set to High. Cook for 4 hours, stirring every hour. Add sauerkraut and cook for an additional hour.
  • Enjoy bratwurst nestled in warm buns, topped with onions and your choice of condiments.
