Indulge in a flavorful orange cake dusted with powdered sugar for a truly delicious treat!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 package (3 oz) cream cheese, softened
  • 2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 3 eggs
  • Powdered sugar, if desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325°F. Grease and lightly flour a 10- or 12-cup fluted tube cake pan or use baking spray with flour.
  • Combine cake mix, milk, cream cheese, orange peel, and eggs in a medium bowl. Beat with an electric mixer on low speed for 1 minute, scraping the bowl constantly, then increase to medium speed and beat for an additional 2 minutes. Pour the batter into the pan.
  • Bake for 38 to 44 minutes until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow to cool in the pan for 15 minutes. Invert the pan onto a cooling rack or heatproof serving plate, remove the pan, and let it cool completely for about 1 hour.
  • Transfer the cake onto a beautiful serving plate and delicately dust it with a generous amount of powdered sugar. Keep the cake covered loosely when storing.
