Delicious cream puffs filled with chocolate-orange whipped cream.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup water
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups whipping (heavy) cream
  • 1/3 cup powdered sugar
  • 3 tablespoons baking cocoa
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons grated orange peel
  • 4 ounces semisweet baking chocolate
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon honey
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Grease and lightly flour a cookie sheet. In a 2 1/2-quart saucepan, bring 1 cup of water, butter, and salt to a rapid boil. Stir in the flour and cook over low heat for about 1 minute until a ball forms. Remove from heat and let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Using a wire whisk, gently blend in one egg at a time until the mixture is creamy. Spoon rounded tablespoonfuls of the batter onto a cookie sheet, spacing each mound about 2 inches apart to make 16 mounds.
  • Bake for around 30 minutes, or until beautifully puffed and golden brown. Allow to cool. Cut off the tops and set them aside. Remove any soft dough strands.
  • Whip together whipping cream, powdered sugar, cocoa, and orange peel in a chilled medium bowl until stiff peaks form. Fill the puffs with the luscious whipped cream mixture, then top with their lids before gracefully arranging them on a grand serving plate.
  • Warm the remaining ingredients over gentle heat until they are silky in texture; then pour them generously over the puffs. Store any extra puffs in the refrigerator.
