Delicious chocolate and orange pastries, best served warm with a side of ice-cold ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 100g good-quality dark cooking chocolate, chopped
  • 2 tsp grated orange rind
  • 1 sheet ready-rolled puff pastry, slightly thawed
  • 1 egg yolk, lightly whisked
  • 4 scoops vanilla ice-cream
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 210°C and prepare a large baking tray with non-stick baking paper.
  • Mix chocolate and orange zest in a small bowl. Divide the pastry into 4 squares. Fill each square with a quarter of the chocolate mixture, then fold the pastry over to create a triangle shape. Press the edges firmly to seal.
  • Chill triangles on lined tray in the freezer for 5 minutes. Brush with egg yolk, then bake in preheated oven for 12 minutes until pastry is puffed and golden. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving with ice cream.
