Recipe for delicious chocolate meringue puffs.
Ingredients:
  • 2 egg whites
  • 0.66666668653488 cup super fine sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (180 degrees C) and line your cookie sheets with foil.
  • In a small bowl, beat the egg whites until they become foamy. Gradually mix in the sugar until stiff peaks of meringue form. If desired, add food coloring. Stir in vanilla, salt, chocolate chips, and nuts.
  • Spoon dollops of meringue onto lined cookie sheets. Bake in preheated oven, then turn off the heat. Resist the temptation to open the oven door for at least 6 hours or overnight.
