Bake tender chicken thighs in sweet oyster garlic sauce for a sticky, flavorful dish. Serve over rice for a crowd-pleasing meal.
Ingredients:
  • 8 chicken thighs
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (10 fluid ounce) bottle oyster sauce
  • 0.75 cup white sugar, or more to taste
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C) and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Season the chicken thighs generously with salt and pepper, then place them into the baking dish skin side up.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 25 minutes.
  • Combine the savory oyster sauce, sweet sugar, fresh garlic, and water in a bowl. Adjust sweetness to your liking by adding more sugar if needed.
  • Baste chicken with sauce and bake for 20 more minutes until fully cooked, reaching an internal temperature of 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
