Create a bold and flavorful Spanish-inspired dish with spicy prawn and calamari tapas.
Ingredients:
  • 350g calamari
  • 113.75 gm olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
  • 1/2 tsp dried chilli flakes
  • 2.50 gm sweet paprika
  • 1kg medium green king prawns, peeled, deveined, tails intact
  • 40.00 ml finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley leaves
  • Lemon wedges, to serve
  • Crusty bread, to serve
Instructions:
  • Halve the calamari and score the inside flesh before cutting it into 4cm pieces.
  • In a large, deep frying pan over medium heat, combine oil, garlic, chili, and paprika. Sauté for 2 to 3 minutes until fragrant. Increase heat to high, then add prawns and calamari. Cook for 4 to 5 minutes, turning until prawns are pink and fully cooked. Remove from heat.
  • Sprinkle parsley into pan followed by a pinch of salt and pepper. Mix well. Transfer to a bowl. Garnish with lemon wedges and serve with crusty bread.
