Delicious vegetarian burger patties made with tofu and rolled oats.
Ingredients:
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 (16 ounce) packages firm tofu
  • 2 stalks celery, minced
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon ground cumin
  • 1 tablespoon red curry paste
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
Instructions:
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs until smooth. Add tofu, celery, onion, chili powder, cumin, curry paste, garlic, and oats. Use your hands to combine until the tofu is finely crumbled and everything is well mixed. Shape into 8 patties.
  • In a large, nonstick skillet over medium heat, heat the vegetable oil. Cook the patties until they are crispy and golden brown on each side, approximately 5 minutes per side.
