Quick and easy appetizer: Ginger marinated shrimp with crispy snow peas.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lb cooked deveined peeled large shrimp (about 35)
  • 1 cup (8 oz) Asian ginger dressing
  • 6 oz fresh snow pea pods (about 35)
  • Toothpicks or appetizer picks
Instructions:
  • Place shrimp in a medium bowl and generously coat with dressing. Refrigerate for 1 hour. While waiting, trim pea pods by removing the stem and strings. Parboil the pea pods in boiling water for about 1 minute until they turn a vibrant green color. Drain, rinse with cold water, and pat dry with paper towels.
  • Remove the dressing from the shrimp. Wrap each shrimp with a pea pod and secure with a toothpick. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
