Peachy margarita with fresh peaches and schnapps for a beachy vibe.
Ingredients:
  • 1 lime
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 medium ripe to slightly over-ripe peach
  • 2 ounces añjeo tequila
  • 2 ounces peach schnapps
  • Ice
Instructions:
  • Zest and juice the lime: Grate the lime zest onto a small plate and squeeze the lime juice into a pourable container, such as a Pyrex measuring cup.
  • Create a zesty lime salt by rubbing together 1/4 teaspoon of lime zest and salt using your fingertips.
  • Rim the rocks glass: Wet the rim of the glass with lime juice and dip it into the lime salt to coat the rim evenly.
  • Mash the peach slices in a cocktail shaker using a muddler until smooth.
  • Combine tequila, peach schnapps, and 1 ounce of lime juice in a shaker. Fill halfway with ice and shake vigorously for about 20 seconds to chill.
  • To serve the cocktail, fill a rimmed rocks glass with ice, then strain the cocktail into the glass while gently swirling the shaker to ensure all the liquid passes through the peach pulp without clogging the strainer. Serve immediately.
