Delicious stromboli pinwheels with sweet peanut butter and grape jelly appeal to all ages.
Ingredients:
  • 1 tablespoon all-purpose flour, or as needed
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf frozen bread dough, thawed
  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 0.75 cup grape jelly
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • Sprinkle flour on a clean work surface and shape bread dough into a 1/4-inch thick oval.
  • Transfer creamy peanut butter into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave at 50% power for 45 seconds to create a smooth consistency. Evenly spread the melted peanut butter over the dough using a spatula.
  • In a microwave-safe bowl, gently heat the grape jelly at 50% power for 20 seconds until melted. Drizzle the melted jelly over the peanut butter using a spatula.
  • Roll the dough towards you and shape it into a 'U' formation, then transfer it to a nonstick baking sheet. Brush the dough with an egg wash and sprinkle sugar generously on top.
  • Bake in the oven until beautifully golden for about 15 minutes. Allow to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
