Georgia Peanut Holiday Snack Mix: A tasty blend featuring festive cookie flavors and the nutty goodness of Georgia's official state crop.
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups Corn Chex™ cereal
  • 3 cups Honey Nut Chex™ cereal
  • 1 tablespoon butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup gluten-free swirled milk chocolate and peanut butter morsels
Instructions:
  • Combine cereals in a large microwave-safe bowl and prepare a cookie sheet by lining it with waxed paper or foil.
  • In a 2-cup microwave-safe measuring cup, heat butter, peanut butter, and brown sugar on High for 1-2 minutes, stirring after 1 minute, until boiling. Drizzle over cereal, stirring until well-coated.
  • Microwave on High for 4 minutes, stirring and scraping the bowl every minute. Continue microwaving on High for 2 minutes until cereal begins to brown. Stir in half of the chips, let cool for 5 minutes, then mix in the rest of the chips.
  • Spread the mixture on waxed paper to cool. Transfer to festive Ziploc® Brand containers and bags to share with loved ones!
