Sweet-tangy brown sugar-maple syrup dressing with apple cider vinegar drizzled over a vibrant salad of pears and candied pecans.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (10 ounce) bag mixed field greens
  • 0.5 cup sliced red onion
  • 1 Bosc pear, cored and sliced
  • 0.5 cup chopped candied pecans
  • 0.5 cup crumbled blue cheese
  • 0.25 cup maple syrup
  • 0.33333334326744 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 0.5 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 0.25 cup walnut oil
Instructions:
  • Combine the salad greens with red onion, pear, pecans, and blue cheese in a large bowl, ensuring everything is evenly mixed.
  • Prepare the dressing by combining maple syrup, vinegar, mayonnaise, brown sugar, salt, and pepper in a blender. Blend well and gradually add the walnut oil while blending. Keep blending until the mixture is creamy, approximately 1 minute. Drizzle the dressing over the salad and toss to evenly coat the greens. Serve promptly.
