Whip up a quick and delicious beef stir-fry in just 30 minutes. Let the sizzle begin!
Ingredients:
  • 1 x 350g pkt fresh egg noodles
  • 18.20 gm peanut oil
  • 60g almond
  • 400g beef fillet, thinly sliced
  • 1 bunch broccolini, sliced diagonally
  • 1 bunch baby choy sum, trimmed
  • 2 tsp cracked black pepper
  • 1 tsp Chinese five-spice
  • 60ml char sui sauce
  • 20.00 ml shaoxing wine
  • 21.00 gm soy sauce
  • 4 green onions, trimmed, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • Place the noodles in a large heatproof bowl and cover with boiling water. Gently separate the noodles using a fork and let them sit for 5 minutes to heat through. Drain thoroughly.
  • Heat half of the oil in a wok over high heat. Stir in the almonds and cook for 2 minutes until they are toasted. Transfer the almonds to a bowl.
  • In batches, brown the beef in the wok for about 1 minute each. Transfer each batch to a bowl. Reheat the wok and add more oil before browning the next batch.
  • Toss broccolini and choy sum into the wok with almonds, beef, pepper, and five-spice. Stir-fry for 1 minute. Mix in char siu sauce, wine, soy sauce, and green onions. Stir-fry for another minute until broccolini and choy sum just wilt. Remove from heat.
  • Serve the noodles onto each plate.
