Festive twist on classic peanut butter kiss cookies: peppermint cookie base with white chocolate candy cane-striped kisses.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup softened butter
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon peppermint extract
  • 4.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 48 white chocolate kisses with candy cane stripes
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a large bowl, blend together butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and peppermint extract until creamy using an electric mixer. Add flour, baking soda, and salt and mix well. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls and place them on ungreased baking sheets.
  • Bake until edges turn golden, for 9 to 10 minutes. Take out of the oven and press a white chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie. Quickly transfer the baking sheets to the freezer to prevent melting. Remove after 15 minutes, and continue with the rest of the dough.
