Peppermint Sugar Cookie Bark

Irresistible almond bark with white chocolate, peppermint, and a sugar cookie base.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1 egg
  • 1 bag (12 oz) white vanilla baking chips (2 cups)
  • 1/3 cup coarsely crushed peppermint candy canes (14 miniature)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F and line a large cookie sheet with foil. Mix cookie mix, butter, and egg in a medium bowl until a soft dough forms. Press the dough into a 12-inch square on the prepared cookie sheet.
  • Bake until a light golden brown, then cool.
  • Place white vanilla baking chips in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on High for 30 to 60 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth. Spread over the cooled cookie base, sprinkle with candy, and allow to set for about 30 minutes.
  • Break apart the cookie bark delicately and store it in a tightly covered container.
