Brined turkey breast roast, air fried for juicy perfection. Ideal for Thanksgiving!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (3 pound) frozen turkey breast roast
  • 2 cups water
  • 0.33333334326744 cup kosher salt
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter, or as needed
  • 1 pinch seasoned salt, or to taste (such as Texas Roadhouse®)
Instructions:
  • Thaw the frozen turkey breast in the fridge for approximately 24 hours.
  • 1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil then mix in kosher salt, brown sugar, and pepper until fully dissolved. Take the pot off the heat and allow the brine to cool to room temperature, approximately 30 minutes. 2. Unwrap the turkey breast, leaving the netting on if intact. Transfer the turkey to a container and pour the cooled brine over it, adding more water as needed to submerge the turkey completely. Make sure to stir to combine the brine with water evenly. 3. Refrigerate the turkey in the brine for 8 hours, ideally overnight, to fully infuse the flavors.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 390 degrees F (200 degrees C) following the manufacturer's guidelines.
  • Take out the turkey and dispose of the brine. Dry the turkey gently. Massage with butter and cover with a mix of seasoned salt and pepper.
  • Place the turkey in the preheated air fryer and cook for 15 minutes. Turn the turkey, remove the netting, and season again. Lower the temperature to 360°F (182°C) and cook for another 20 minutes, remember to turn the turkey halfway through. Increase the temperature to 390°F (200°C), turn the turkey again, and cook until it's no longer pink in the center, for about 15 more minutes. Let the turkey rest for 5 minutes before slicing and serving.
