Pesto Chicken Tenders

Savory tender with basil pesto and Asiago cheese.
Ingredients:
  • 1/4 cup basil pesto
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Progresso™ plain panko crispy bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup shredded Asiago cheese (2 oz)
  • 1 package (14 oz) uncooked chicken tenders (not breaded)
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and generously spray a large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  • Combine pesto and mayonnaise in one bag and bread crumbs with cheese in another bag. Coat chicken with pesto mixture by sealing it in the pesto bag and shaking to coat. Finish by coating chicken with bread crumb mixture in the second bag before placing it on a cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until chicken is fully cooked and bread crumbs are crispy and golden brown.
