Pesto-lined biscuit dough wrapped around sausage links for a delicious and popular appetizer that vanishes fast.
Ingredients:
- 2 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough
- 5 teaspoons pesto
- 10 links breakfast sausage
- 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese, or as needed
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) for a perfectly baked dish.
- Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle on a lightly floured surface. Top each biscuit with 1/2 teaspoon of pesto. Wrap 1 sausage link on the edge of each biscuit and roll up. Cut each roll into 4 pieces, place on a baking sheet, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 8 to 10 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown and the sausage is cooked.
