Quick and tangy pickled banana peppers - perfect for sharing with friends!
Ingredients:
  • 100 banana peppers
  • 1 quart canola oil
  • 1 quart cider vinegar
  • 1 quart water
  • 0.66666668653488 cup kosher salt
  • 0.25 cup dried oregano
  • 6 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
Instructions:
  • Remove the tops from the peppers and slice them into thin discs before transferring them into a 6-quart jar.
  • In a large bowl, combine canola oil, vinegar, water, salt, oregano, garlic, and sugar until the salt and sugar are dissolved. Pour the mixture over the peppers, stir well, and refrigerate for 24 hours.
  • Mix peppers well before serving and store in the refrigerator.
