Homemade pickled jalapeños: easy, fun, and versatile. Refrigerate for endless flavor options.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup vinegar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 2 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1 pound jalapeno peppers, thinly sliced
Instructions:
  • In a pot over medium-high heat, combine vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and garlic. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar and salt are dissolved. Remove from heat.
  • Add jalapeño peppers to the pot and allow to cool for approximately 15 minutes.
  • Place jalapeño peppers in a spacious sterilized Mason jar. Fill the jar with pickling liquid to ensure the peppers are covered. Allow the peppers to cool to room temperature, around 30 minutes, then seal the jar and refrigerate.
