Southern-style pimento cheese: Creamy, flavorful dip for veggies, crackers, or sandwiches.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (8-ounce) blocks extra sharp cheddar cheese, freshly grated
  • 2/3 cup Duke’s mayonnaise
  • 2 (4-ounce) jars chopped pimentos, drained
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (your favorite brand)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
Instructions:
  • Combine all ingredients in a medium mixing bowl, gently folding together with a spatula. Taste and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper as desired.
  • Transfer the mixture into an airtight container and refrigerate for a minimum of 1 hour to enhance the fusion of flavors. The spread will thicken more once chilled, and there is no necessity to remix before serving. Store the pimento cheese tightly covered in the refrigerator for up to 5 days; it is not suitable for freezing. Enjoyed the recipe? Feel free to leave a comment and rating below!
