Delicious pineapple raisin ham sauce made with brown sugar, butter, and cloves - perfect sweet & spicy holiday topping.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 2 cups pineapple juice
  • 0.25 cup white vinegar
  • 0.125 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 0.5 cup raisins
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, mix brown sugar and cornstarch, then stir in pineapple juice, vinegar, and salt until well combined. Bring to a boil while whisking constantly until sugar dissolves, approximately 10 minutes.
  • Take the mixture off the heat. Whisk in the butter and cloves until fully incorporated with the pineapple juice mixture; then gently fold in the raisins. Enjoy served hot or chill overnight for even more flavor.
