Traditional homemade pasta with optional salt, baking powder, and butter. Can swap warm water for milk or beaten eggs.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups semolina flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.5 cup warm water
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
  • Combine flour, salt, and baking powder. Incorporate warm water and butter into the mixture, kneading until a stiff dough forms. Allow the dough to rest briefly. Divide into quarters and roll each quarter to 1/8 or 1/16 inch thickness. Cut into preferred shapes and let dry on a flat surface for 1 to 3 hours. Cook as if preparing pasta.
