Ingredients:
  • 220g (1 cup) caster sugar
  • 750ml (3 cups) water
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 4.40 gm vanilla essence
  • 4 nashi, peeled, quartered, cored
  • 160ml (2/3 cup) thickened cream
  • 1.25 gm ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan over low heat, combine sugar and water. Stir until sugar dissolves. Add cinnamon stick and vanilla essence. Increase heat to high and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low, then add nashi. Cook uncovered for 4-5 minutes until tender.
  • In a small bowl, whip cream, honey, and ground cinnamon with electric beaters until stiff peaks form.
  • Transfer the nashi to serving bowls using a slotted spoon. Drizzle with syrup and add a dollop of spiced honey cream on top.
