0.25 cupbutter, melted
1cupplain yogurt
3beaten eggs
1tablespoonsour cream
1.5 teaspoons salt
1cupcrumbledfeta cheese
1cupfinely choppedfresh parsley
2teaspoons paprika
2egg yolks
2tablespoons sesame seeds
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a bowl, combine the flour and baking soda and set aside.
Combine canola oil, butter, yogurt, eggs, sour cream, sugar, and salt in a large mixing bowl until smooth. Slowly mix in the flour mixture until a soft dough forms. Knead the dough in the bowl for about 5 minutes until not sticky. Mix feta cheese, parsley, olive oil, and paprika in a separate bowl with a fork to create the filling.
Divide the dough into 2 1/2 tablespoon portions and shape them into 1 3/4-inch balls. Flatten each ball into a 3-inch circle on your palm. Place 1 scant tablespoon of filling in the center of each circle. Bring the edges together over the filling and pinch them to form dumplings. Arrange them seam side down on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Beat the egg yolks in a bowl and brush the tops of the dumplings with it. Sprinkle each with 1/4 teaspoon of sesame seeds.
Bake in the oven until tops are glossy, golden brown, and cracked, for 20-30 minutes.
